Another One bites the dust!

The Village Cleaners in the Farmingdale Village left a message on our answering machine...."Please pick up whatever clothes you have here, we are closing the store". If you've ever done business with them, you'll know they are about the nicest people that you'll meet. You'll also know that they do great tailoring, and that the owner, Mrs. Lee, has her two college sons work with her. So, it's a family run business..."family", key word!
But they're leaving, and they're leaving as I once again see the Village politicians in the Observer, cutting the ribbon on a new store opening, and wearing huge smiles. And you can't but help to look into the eyes of the new owners, see their hope, and wish them the best, especially in this part of town where the blame for a business closing always falls on the owner....coincidence, I doubt it.
