care is not the problem. I had the unfortunate experience to spend 11 hours in the ER with one of my kids. IMHO the problem was not the Health Care, the problem was that the ER was OVERWHELMED. People came in that simply could have gone to a local doctor. One came in and their child had a 100.5 fever. From what I could understand, they did not give the child any medication (baby asprin or similar) and went there to get a free fix.

Without sounding as if I'm profiling, maybe I am, of the 100 or so families I counted coming in, only a handlful appeared to be there for a good reason. Many did not speak a stitch of English.

But they ALL received the best care in the world.

The problem is at the borders.
