The Town of Oyster Bay does a 10+ amazing job of clearing snow. If you see a problem spot, and call, they jump right on it. I've heard the horror stories of surrounding towns, but Oyster Bay under John Venditto take snow removal very serious. It's all about safety for the residents, and access to the roads for the residents and emergency vehicles. But be aware, after your road is salted/sanded and plowed curb to curb, early morning Home Depot snow blower owners are out there in force, blowing all their snow back into the street, often up to a foot or more. I believe the mentality is that traffic will run it over and crush it up, but this is not in any way true nor is it safe.
