My apologies...

For anyone familiar with the holistic scoring rubrics provided by the State, it is extremely disappointing to have a large enough student population score 1 and 2's to result in placement on the state watch "list".

You're right in that my choice of words in stating that the assessments are not "difficult" was not the best choice of words - but as someone familiar with administering and scoring both the ELA and math assessments, I am aware that having ENOUGH students fall in the 1s and 2s to result in placement on the "list" is surprising, and obviously disappointing.
