Are you sure the school's placement on the state "list" was based on the ELA and Math assessment scores, or is this just speculation on your part? If it is your assumption, please don't speak so definitively.There are other "errors" which can result in placement on the state "list", for example not testing all student populations, including Special Education or ESL/ELL students. There have been many cases when districts and/or specific schools were placed on this list as a result of administrative errors.
If it was the state scores as you claim, then that is disappointing because anyone who is familiar with the state assessments could attest for the fact that they are far from difficult.
