although your last statement was somewhat ignorant (not sure what part you don't understand - the field is being funded by a grant offered by Sen. Kemp Hannon - the grant was offered to the district solely for the field - it does not affect the school or budget and/or school taxes).However, you're absolutely correct in that being added to the state's watch list is a travesty. It is extremely difficult to make this state "list"...and obviously not difficult in a good way.
It is unacceptable, and the district, and S.E.M. in particular, owe an explanation to the community. What is the action plan that will be taken to remedy this situation?
