Pork is Pork. $800K to FDLE, $100 million to Alaska for a bridge to nowhere (yes I know the bridge didn't get built the money was reprogramed though to Alaska for other pork projects) a little here and a little more there and pretty soon we're in a heck of an economic budget mess.
Our legislators are now contemplating passing a pork laden $410 billion dollar budget with countless synthetic field projects or the like.
That's the problem with the "use it or lose it" philosophy.
Say yes to synthetic field today, and tomorrow grandma can't get her prescription filled.
