Why Stop and shop was a yes vote and Cerro Wire mall in Syosset is still a no vote.
1) lawyer representing Stop and Shop Howard Avrutine lawyer representing Cerro Wire Coalition Howard Avrutine.
2) PR firm Ryan & Ryan representing Stop & Shop and Cerro Wire Coalition funded by Simon Properties Corporation.
3) Union labor both would use union labor.
4) Its always about money and votes.
5) The TOBAY can not win all the battles out there but are trying to win the war!! With that said "Stop And Shop is wrong for Farmingdale!!"
The town board (TOBAY)has demonstrated leadership in standing up to the money-grabbing developers and all the other money grabbers out there who want to line their pockets with cash on the backs of our quality of life and our environment. They have stood up to protect our quality of life.
So why say yes to Stop and Shop
Just days before the Stop and Shop vote news 12 ran a editorial that said the Town was hard on developers always saying no to the big box developers and should say yes to Stop & Shop and the Cerro Wire Mall just days before that this interview massapequaNEWS.com interviews John Venditto Go to http://www.youtube.com in the search box put in Dh7mM7GTEs to see that interview.
Same PR guy same lawyer same union labor same town one a yes vote one still in court 13 years now. All still on the same page you win some you lose some.
PR guy and lawyer making big money Union gets some jobs from the yes vote and still hoping for a yes on Cerro Wire Mall.TOBAY said yes to a Big Box and can buy some time with all of the above and the Court system. Let the Town run the Town not the Court system.
The Town is still trying to demonstrated leadership in standing up to the money-grabbing developers and all the other money grabbers out there lining their pockets on the backs of our quality of life and our environment. The TOBAY have stood up to protect our quality of life its about wining the war not every battle.
