With little exception jets fly IFR (instrument flight rules) and are required to follow a specific assigned route. The assignment for both rwy 1 and 32 is to turn to a heading of 010 degrees as soon as speed and altitude permit. This is a published departure procedure.

The two operators (FBO's) can hand out the "tower letter to airman" publication to transients. This program is a good one but is not diseminated as much as it should be. Ask the NYSDOT for a copy.
