The runway that starts at 110 and conklin is runway 14 (140 degrees-Southeast direction) the opposite end is rwy-32 (320 degrees-Northwest). Runway 1 and runway 19 are North-South. As the prevaling winds have recently been out of the North or Northwest planes will be taking off/landing into the wind in that direction. This will change as the prevaling winds change. The noise abatement program states that departures of runway 32 should turn North up route 110 "as soon as speed and altitude permit" most jets cannot safely do this so soon and will continue straight for a longer distance. It would not be a bad idea to contact NYSDOT and ask them to promote all pilots to comply with this voluntary proceedure
