I was mischevious when I was young, going through mid teenage years...but when you see these young people out on bicycles or walking the neighborhood after 10PM, you really have to wonder what kind of parents they have. Not to mention being out after 12 midnight. And when an incident finally happens where one of them is hurt, they'll be in the newspaper with cap and gown on and stories about them being an honor student.
And if most of us agree that the area is changing and the young ones might be out of control, don't tell Farmingdale's School Supervisor John Lorentz, he is either in denial or too arrogant to agree with you. Ask him about improvements in school safety and "modern" security in the school system, you might just squeeze a condescending smile out of him.
