Your Anti- Stop and Shop Group also got $500,000 from the Nassau County Environmental Bond Act. Check in right here page Eight. http://www.nassaucountyny.gov/agencies/CountyExecutive/NewsRelease/2007/documents/envirobond2.pdf

And the EPA cleanup in the Preserve was because of us, we were the first to say something about the Preserve.

Dear Mr. Grello,
Thank you for your property/project nomination for funding under the Nassau County Environmental Program Bond Act. Your nomination has been provided with reference number SW-11 and will be evaluated by the Environmental Program Advisory Committee.

If you have any questions, please call me at 571-5825 or send an email to eba@nassaucountyny.gov .

Very truly yours,

Brad Tito

Assistant to the Director of Environmental Coordination

Just so you know CCAF made the Stop and Shop a better project based on the concessions we got from Stop and Shop.We did not just say yes as so many did. We said no and made it a better project. I don't even live in Farmingdale but I still care and try to help!

A email from Stop and Shop

Based on the . support of the CCAF of the proposed Stop and Shop Supermarket
in Farmingdale, NY, Stop and Shop
is willing to make the following concessions:

1) Limit store hours to 6am-12pm
2) Limit deliveries to 7am-10pm. Sign to be posted.
3) All site lighting will be directed on site
4) No vending or ATM or bottle/can redemption machines will be outside
5) Stop and Shop will be responsible for the policing of liter created by
its operation and customers on Motor Avenue and Main Street
6) Stop and Shop will maintain the site during construction
7) Peapod delivery trucks will not be stored on site
8) Construction hours will be 7am-8pm
9) No delivery trucks will be left idling on site. Sign to be posted.
10) Stop and Shop will bear the cost of "Children At Play" signs in the
surrounding neighborhood
