What exactly is a "huge" minority? Your child is fortunate to have you drive him/her into Allen Park. Stop and Shop did not "help" clean up the site that was condemned by the EPA. Stop and Shop did help form Citizens for a New Liberty, and finance it throughout. The decision to entertain only Stop and Shop was the landowner's and Stop and Shop. Building offices, next generation housing, a new Town Hall, Senior housing, and so on was most definitely possible. The Village has a CVS Pharmacy 1 minute away on Main St. and in the opposite direction,1 minute away towards route 110, is a drive through pharmacy at Walgreens. Both entrances to Stop & Shop and Allen Park are on Motor ave. Traffic will be horrible. Widening the roads and making two left hand turn lanes is not the answer. Main st. runs from route 110 and connects residents to the Village. Main St. is already over-crowded which is why many take parallel streets through residential roads. Stop & Shop traffic will make it much worse.
