I'm assuming the numbers you mention about support and opposition refer to the public hearing, which was almost four years ago. At the meeting the other night, one of the S&S supporters mentioned there were over 2,000 Farmingdale households that wanted the S&S. If that's the case, looks like the majority certainly did rule in the end.
