In Stop & Shop's own words, this 83,000 Sq Ft. Superstore is a prototype. They offered no pictures of a similar store anywhere, but what they did present was a drawing and only a drawing. And you stand corrected, they are not a "pretty" smart company, they are corporate geniuses. As for why they would put a store that's bigger than one necessary to serve the community, they have the land, and this is their "protype". As for being against Stop & Shop, have you asked why anyone might oppose it? Do you think that those in opposition just don't like the name? Do you think that if it were built in place of the closed down King Kullen there would be objection? Do you think that if this SuperStore were built off of Routes 109 or 110 there would be an objection? As for your dollars and donuts, think again. As a good and concerned neighbor, I will continue to frequent Waldbaums, local bakeries, Pat's Meat Farms, Best Yet, and my local florist on Main St. Oh, and as for donuts, I'll keep going to Dunkin' Donuts too, so save your money, and when you check your eggs make sure that the toxins haven't hatched them yet.
