Regarding Juliet Guichon's wishes for a brighter future at Pearson, I would like to stress the idea that one should not judge a book by its cover. Speaking as one of many who was taken in by a charming personality and excellent people skills, I believe that the new direction Pearson is taking will most likley be the lesser of two evils instead of a step in the right direction. It's easy to be critical, but sometimes you need to be critical before changes can be made. Asking questions and trying to make changes has become an exercise in futility at Pearson it seems. There are others better informed and experienced than me that would be better at carrying on this point and feel free to do so. Whether this problem lies entirely with the director or goes beyond that is up for debate. The attitude seems to be that we are the leaders of tomorrow...or at least we can be, if we don't question the leaders of today.

Sincerely,
Conor McCrudden
