A point about the election process

Sarah, the election of trustees to the Board is a process that bears some scrutiny if change in governance is being contemplated. The procedure has been that the Chair presents a slate of 40 names to be elected trustee to the assembled members of the Corporation. That slate is either voted all up or all down. If someone else puts forth a name, then the assembled members are instructed by the Chair to vote to either add that name to the full slate and remove another or reject the name. In my opinion, to have a more truly accountable Board, the names of the nominees should be voted on individually rather than as a slate. Term limits would still apply.
Just a suggestion.
