wNassau County Pension Nightmare

So why is we continue to sign contracts that permit overtime to be utilized in the calculation of pensions? Public sector precludes consideration.

As I understand it, you have to pay into the pension for every hour you work, including overtime. On your pay stub, you will see, the feds,state,FICA, etc., along with the pension being charged against you. If there were no pension money being taken out of your check when you work over time, then I would have to agree with you. The problem always begins below the surface. But, correct me if I'm wrong.

are taken out for every hour worked. Why would the "Taxpayer Revolt" party continue this?
